The quest for the cup begins!
With the run for the holy grale of hockey upon us the Bruins are ready and hopping for a long 2nd season.
The Bruins finished off the season with a 5 game unbeaten streak and home ice advantage. They have also silenced the NHLS with confirmming that Hasek will be back next year. All that is need now is a long run in the play-offs and hopefully the cup.
The Bruins had some conserns with the loss of Valire Bure with a broken elbow but his schedule for come back has improved over the last 2 weeks. He is expect to be back by late first round eairly second if the Bruins can stay alive.
"Lossing Val was a blow to us but thats the NSHL for yah, you must learn to brush yourself off, and get back up when you fall. We have done that with an impressive drive to end the reagular season" coach Craig MacTavish said.
The Bruins also lost young D-man Brain Campbell with a knee injury and his prognosises is not as great a Bure's.
"Yah Camps looks like he's done for the year. His knee was pretty torn up but he's in good spirts and hey you never know" MacTavish said
"This team has come together and is ready to go to war for each other. When you get that attitude in a team you better watch out. This guys know they have a really great shot this year and know on any given night can beat the best of teams. Plus we have 1 of the best goalies in the league and alot of hungry guys. I wouldnt want to meet this team in the play-offs I will tell you that much" GM Chris Baillie said.
Well weither the Bruins make a deep run or an eailry exit this team is ready for World war 3.
